Gardeners and Gardens that have Inspired Me

The inspiration for my gardening work has come from several sources such as the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh, the pristine simplicity of traditional Japanese gardens, Gertrude Jekyll, Christopher Lloyd, and the rugged natural beauty of Scotland and Canada.

Although my work covers most aspects of gardening, landscaping, and garden design I am most at home creating natural and wildlife gardens combining stone, water and native plants.

Recent gardening projects have included a wildlife pond, a shady low maintenance shrub border, and a Tuscan inspired garden.
