Plantsman Gardener in Central Scotland
I have been a professional gardener in Scotland for the better part of the last thirty years so, apart from a brief foray back into full time education, gardening has been my life's work.
My experience as a gardener in Scotland
* 5-year training apprenticeship with my local council
* Horticultural college
* 3 years of training at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.
* Head Gardener with the National Trust for Scotland.
* Newbattle Abbey College followed by Glasgow University where I studied Scottish History and Philosophy. In 1996 I set up my own gardening business Wild At Heart Gardening.
At Wild at Heart Gardening I fully develop my skills as a plantsman gardener, landscape gardener and also dry-stone dyker. I like to use locally sourced and natural materials whenever possible. I am now able to offer my gardening and landscape services to clients in Edinburgh, Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane.
